Background
I'm a software engineer with 15 years of full-stack development experience. I've been grateful to have worn many hats — developer, product manager, fractional CTO, applied AI engineer, hiring manager, IT manager, and business owner.
I've been lucky to be part of teams that took ideas from napkin sketches to millions in revenue — helping grow startups from scratch, building and scaling teams, and learning what actually matters along the way.
I've absolutely loved working with teams and offices across Costa Rica, Lesotho, Nigeria, Germany, Austin, Minneapolis, and L.A. — and still have nostalgia for every one of them.
These days I live in Mexico and split my time between software consulting, advising small business owners through Kev's Kit, and writing about the things I'm thinking about here on this site.
